Meet Your Instructor

Diego Ojeda is a passionate Spanish teacher, author of comprehensible poetry, and a distinguished trainer of world language educators. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, he has extensive teaching experience both in his home country and in the United States.  Recognized for his innovative and culturally aware teaching style, Diego has been awarded for his contributions to education. He is the co-founder of the professional communities #LangChat and #CharlaELE1, which connect language teachers around the world. He is also the author of multiple poetry books and teaching resources designed to support Spanish learning through comprehensible input and student-centered strategies. Diego also leads workshops and seminars for Spanish teachers, including the course “AP en tus manos,” which provides practical tools for effectively teaching the AP Spanish Language and Culture course. His approach combines strategic planning, student motivation, and the development of communicative competence.
